Well, I’m exhausted and staying in a rather shady hotel, but it’s NYC, and that’s part of the experience, right?  I’m sharing a hotel room with one of my good friends, Brett Mitchell, who is a spectacular conductor…  (Tough not to be jealous!)  We got fleeced by eating in a mediocre restaurant near Times Square, but Brett wanted to see the game, and I didn’t really feel like chasing around the city.  Tomorrow morning starts the Masur seminar, so I need to study!
