So, I had some friends from Williamsport, PA in town this weekend. It was rather nice coincidence that I received a call from Frank Butera, the head chef at Frank's Chop House inviting us to a preview at the Chop House.

I don't know that I can fully describe the wonder that is Frank's Chop House. The food is truly incredible.

Frank's signature dish du jour is a black drum that was served on eggplant. It was... truly incredible. (A quick disclosure - I do know Frank Butera as he is one of Lauren's neighbors).

The décor for the restaurant is wonderful. It's a Chop House but with a very elegant décor. The staff was wonderful, and there is no doubt that this is going to be a big hit in Houston. Try this restaurant out - you won't be disappointed!
