Ok, so I have 3 days to cover here.  On the 28^th, we saw rehearsals of Traviata with Carlo Rizzi.  It was interesting to watch.  Netrebko is supposed to be singing, but for that rehearsal, it was the 2^nd singer, Kabanova, who was herself spectacular.  (And, in my opinion also beautiful!)  That evening we came back to the Schloss to be invited to a party with the people who run the AAF and make this possible.  (The American Austria Foundation runs the fellowship.)  It was great.  I don’t think I ended up in bed until around 4 in the morning!  Luckily there were no rehearsals on the 29^th that we could attend.  This weekend has been rather calm, actually.  Unfortunately there were no rehearsals that we were allowed into this weekend.  On Monday things will start up again, and actually it looks as though after that will be a rather intense few weeks.
