Welcome to VS.com and thanks for visiting. Here you'll find some of my sound and video clips, as well as blog posts and other interesting items. Be sure to check back often.
Also, check out Opera Vista, Houston's newest opera sensation. The festival was a resounding success (Click on the links for the reviews). I was amazed by Joseph Rawley's work on David T. Little's Soldier Songs. It was a tour de force. The singers for Edalat Square were incredible, and Chuck Winkler's staging blew me away. Truly! Line Tørnhøj of Denmark won the 2009 Vista Competition with her opera, Anorexia Sacra. Camilo Santostefano placed second with his opera, El Fin de Narciso. It was the first year to have two international competitors as first and second.
